How to Wage War With The V-S-B

I am waiting, extremely impatiently, to hear where Miles will be placed for Kindergarten this September. There has been, let us call it, a "glitch" in my original plan, so at the last minute I have had to switch his registration.
I currently
a) have no idea where he will be in school in one week (fingers crossed, because it could be two),
b) have no childcare for him for the times when he won't be in school, and
c) have no way to speed up the process of figuring things out!

Sheesh!

Besides that, life is fine! Miles is enjoying his last few days of carefree sun and summer, without fully realizing that is what they are, I think. We're hoping to make it to the PNE sometimes this week, maybe Wednesday? We'll see.
