Mark took these photos about an hour and a half before I left for the party. I was so excited about going that I spent all afternoon getting ready. This was my intended costume, but after about an hour and a half of wandering around in nylons and a short skirt, I decided I would be far happier in jeans. I think the jeans changed my look, but since I was more comfortable, it seemed well worth the sacrifice.
Please note the blue eyeshadow, the large hoop earrings, and crimped hair. I don't often wear that black necklace. The nylons I'm wearing... they stop mid-calf. And, on my feet - Keds-style runners that match my eyeshadow and jangly bracelets. Yep, I had a LOT of fun coordinating the accessories.
The party was a blast! It was nice to hang out with English majors who seriously know how to party. I even danced. (I mean, with 80s tunes blaring from the ghettoblaster, how could I not?!)
